Prayagraj: Ghazipur District reached its target in teen vaccination in Uttar Pradesh with more than 2,61,865 teenagers (15-17 age groups) who have taken the first covid vaccine dose.
The Ghazipur district was given a target to cover 2,53,910 teenagers (15-17 years) but crossed the target.
Ghazipur was attended by Philiphit (94.43%), Shraverti (93.34%), Muzaffarnagar (90.92%), Basti (88.61%) and Etawah (88.21%) even as Prasagraj recorded a low of 49.24 %, the health authority has been determined to manage the Covid-19 vaccine to 1,40.14,000 adolescents in the age group 15-17 and 64.93% of them (90,99,722) have taken the first dose until January 29.
Record shows health authorities in Piliphit (1,42,447 teen populations), Shraverti (78,367), Muzaffarnagar (194,639), Basti (172,848), and Etawah (110,942) has set separate vaccination targets.
Data, however, showed Ghazipur after being given the first dose to 2,61,865 teenagers until January 29 while the first dose was given to teenagers in Philibhit (1,34,512), Shraverti (73,150), Basti (1.53.155), Basti (1.53.155) , BASTI (1.53,155), BASTI (1,53,155)) and ETawah (97,866) respectively.
Interestingly, the Prayagraj district has set the highest target (4,17,616 lakh) teenagers to manage Covid vaccines and only 49.24% of the target (2.05,640) given the first dose until January 29.

Officials said, in Pratapgarh Regency, 74.48% of teenagers (1,67,644) had taken Jab.
Similarly, as many as 92,383 adolescents from 1,12,189 (82.35%) are also given the first dose in the neighboring Kaushambi district.
In Fatehpur District 1,27,583 from adolescents (69.09%) were given the first dose until January 29.
