New Delhi: Delhi police on Saturday claimed that the intelligence department did not provide input on the possibility of explosives in the Ghazipur flower market.
“There is no specific intelligence input on explosives restored in the Ghazipur Delhi East Flower Market”, said a senior Delhi officer on Saturday.
He added that before the prominent day like the day of independence day or Republicans, intelligence agencies issued regular terror warnings and suggested extensive patrols and suggested preparations for other security measures but this time, there was no special warning about the terror plot in the Ghazipur area East Delhi.
“We are waiting for a forensic report on the identification of explosive to put aside whether it’s a naughty action or terror group behind it,” he added.
However, intelligence agencies claimed to have sounded terrorism to several states including Delhi and Punjab regarding the possibility of terror attacks.
According to intelligence institutions, the commemoration of terror reads that many terror organizations plan to carry out the possibility of terror attacks in several parts of the country, especially in North Indian countries during and before elections.
After improvised (IED) explosive devices are filled with RDX and ammonium nitrate found in a bag that is not maintained in the Ghazipur flower market in East Delhi, all Delhi police units and central intelligence agencies have been warned and their senior officers talk to each other for more coordination both in the investigation.
On Friday, an improvised (IED) explosive device weighing about five kilograms and several Indian currencies found to be hidden in a bag lying on Jalan Attari-Bachiwind in Punjab’s Amritsar, close to the Indian-Pakistani border.
The intelligence agent also saw whether Ied recovered from Punjab had connections with recovered explosives in Delhi because RDX was found in both cases.
Alleged that the explosion was restored in Ghazipur was transported from Punjab.
“The Forensic Team has also collected samples from the Ghazipur market area for more information in this case.
Police Delhi has been ordered to ensure CCTV installed in public places in working conditions,” said a senior police officer.
