Greeshma made him a news in mid-July, when he was rejected by tickets at his school.
The daughter of a farmer, who suffered losses during a pandemic, he had not paid grade 9 fees and therefore was not accepted for the 10th grade at his school.
When news spread, Minister of Education Minister S Semesh Kumar visited his house.
The minister promised to give him another opportunity in additional examinations.

On Monday, Greeshma said she had mixed emotions.
“At that time I was really sad.
I saw students from batches I moved in their lives while I was left behind.

“Education is true everyone.
Every student must get the chance to learn,” he said.
Greeshma could not attend any class in grade 10 because she was not accepted at school.
“My sister taught me for a full year.
Just like in class, she stood in front of the board and talked to me a lesson.
Because the language was easy, she asked me to study myself.
I began to study them three months before the exam,” he said.
