Nagpur: Two girls, stunned by obscene lewd movements, were initially surprised but then resisted back to scare him before filing a complaint at the Bajaj Nagar police station on Monday.
Alleged Misceant, who later turned out to be a married bank employee, fled after being beaten by stones thrown by the survivors.
The man, who was in the car, allegedly revealed his personal part of the girls with the pretext of asking them to address before accelerating when the victims put up unexpected resistance.
Led by Senior Inspector Dinesh Labde, Tim Bajaj Nagar, with input by CCTV girls and recording, managed to zero in 31 years Mandar Dhongdi, a loan officer at a private bank, at his residence on Tuesday.
Initially refused to admit his mistake, Dhongdi then broke down and spilled nuts when questioned.
Police said the 19-year-old complainant, accompanied by a friend, returned home on foot after enjoying snacks in the gittikan layout.
Dhongdi has pulled his car near the two girls in front of the Temple of Durga on Jalan Semen.
He asked the girls way to reach Orange City Chowk’s hospital but then began making a mistake.
Dhongdi spoke with the girls when he began to reveal triggering a quick reaction from the girls.
“It was a disgusting experience for a girl to meet with obscene.
I immediately told my friend who was beside me.
At first, it was embarrassing and numbness but we struggled hard to leave it without any other choice but to escape,” said the complainant.
“My friend immediately took a few stones and threw it at him,” he said.
The girl friend said it was an instant reaction.
“The stones that entered the car made him surprised.
He escaped with the speed of Breakneck,” he said.
The girls said many women in their area had faced several or other types of abuse on the road but refrained from approaching the police.
“Women and women should not think twice before fighting astray on the road with a strong spirit and also reported this problem to the police,” the girls said, added, time had come to protest harassment hard and against harassment.
