Turugram: GMDA is meditating using wastewater treated for gardening and landscape in a 30-meter wide belt along the Kundli-Maneswal-Palwal (KMP) freeway, between Pataudi Chowk and Panchgaon Cloverleaf.
According to officials, this plan is being considered in accordance with “reuse of state government wastewater policy, aims to preserve water using every decrease in wastewater processed for different purposes, such as plants and thermal industries, or for horticulture and irrigation purposes .
“our plan is to use the waste water treated for gardening and landscaping in the green belt of 30 meters on both sides of the motorway KMP, between Pataudi Chowk and Panchgaon Cloverleaf,” an official said GMDA, who did not wish to be named.
officials said that This proposal was delivered and discussed in July this year, where it was decided that the pipe would be placed from the closest waste processing plant to the toll road for the purpose, where the internal pipe would be placed.
Water will be sourced from the General Waste Care Plan (CETP) in Manesar , “Where 45-48 MB treated wastewater is available”.
The official said, “Ice Timasi has been prepared to look for a total of 20 months from wastewater treated from the factory, where 10 months will be used for the KMP toll road while the remaining 10 months will be used for the Kasan forest area.
Water will be sourced by putting the main distribution pipes between CETP and KMP, where further distribution will be given by GMDA.
“All projects, officials said, are expected to cost around Rs 5 Crore.
Public feedback is currently being sought for the proposal, officials said.
