Greater Noida: The authority of the large Noida Industrial Development (Gnida) has decided to establish an integrated command and control center that will continue to keep an eye on all entrances and out of town.
Feeds from CCTV cameras installed in strategic locations will be monitored at the center and unwanted incidents that are immediately submitted to the police.
The center, established at a cost of Rs 2 Crore, will also respond to complaints about urban services.
For example, if there are residents who file complaints about damaged street lights, leaks in the pipe or even a hole in the road through the Gnida application, it will turn on on the giant screen in the middle.
The problem will then be awaited to the department concerned.
The source said Gnida would improve its surveillance system and install additional CCTV cameras at Noida-Greater Noida Expressway near Pari Chowk, Char Murti Crossing, crossing of Kasna, Pratap Vihar to Greater Noida Stretch near Tigri Chowk and Surajpur’s entry point.
Narendra Bhoooshan, Chief Executive Authority, said the tender would soon come out and the agency chose to arrange the camera.

The three crimes have occurred in a 24 hour range.
The source said the control room would be ready in March next year.
It will have eight video walls, half will be dedicated to improving urban services.
