Greater Noida: While 750 applicants have registered for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), The Greater Noida Authority has identified two plots of a total of 73,421 square meters for e-auction to builders to develop flats under the scheme.

E-Auction will take place next month.
Construction of one flat and two rooms is expected to begin early next year.
Santosh Kumar, who is responsible for Gnida Builder cells, said, “We have identified two plots to develop a flat for the economically weaker society in PMAY.
This includes a plot of 53,071 square meters in sector 2 and others with an area of 20,350 square meters In the Omicron 1A sector.
Land will be sold by e-auction to builders next month.
“According to Kumar, Gnida has been looking for applications from those who are looking for an affordable house under PMAY.
Because of the pandemic, the application deadline must be extended three times since the launch of the scheme earlier this year in January.
“A total of 750 applications have been received.” And to attract builders to develop projects, Gnida has also made provisions providing 10% of land use for commercial purposes by developers who oppose 1% earlier.

The final tender will be opened on November 29.
