PANAJI: Goa reports nine Covid-19 deaths and 3,390 new infections on Thursday and with 8,295 samples tested, the level of peposititivity is 40.8%.
With 3,728 recovery, the recovery rate is at 88.2%.
Active Kaseload the country is now at 22,460.
Of the nine mortality, seven were not vaccinated while two people were fully vaccinated.
A 56-year-old woman from the Benaulim, has comorbidity, dies at home.
A 57-year-old woman, without comorbidity from Assolna was taken dead to the South Goa District Hospital.
A 67-year-old man from Calangute and a 77-year-old woman from Canacona, each of which died within four and 14 hours.
Other deaths from Chicalim, Zuarinagar, Ponda, Margao and Caranzalem spent between two and 12 days in the hospital before they surrendered to the virus.
Daily hospitalization has increased to 64 of 47 and 44 hospitalizations for the past two days.
3,326 others chose to wasolate the house on Thursday and there were 30 release of hospitals.
During the day, 570 adults took the first dose of vaccines, 1,403 of their second dose adults and 1,791 seniors with comorbidity, health workers and frontline workers received their prudential doses.
In addition, 301 teenagers received their first dose of vaccines.
The second dose coverage among adult populations was 98.4% and the first dose coverage among teenagers 78.7%.
