PANAJI: By supervising by securing as many seats in Bardez, the BJP election is responsible for Goa, Devendra Fadnivis, meeting the Port minister and Calangute Mla Michael Lobo at his residence on Tuesday.
Maharashtra’s former minister was accompanied by the President of the State Party Sadanand Shet Tanavade, and the meeting lasted for almost an hour.
Fadniv got rid of lobo speculation angry after the meeting with Calangute MLA and his wife, Parra Sarpanch Delilah (R).
He said that talking to the interests of the party did not mean that person was the observer who was said to be politically said that the meeting was intended to calm the lobo, which had not been given the responsibility to make a big decision for Taluka, the work he had coveting.
Calangute Mla said that he had told Fadnavis that his wife Delilah, who was Parra Sarpanch, would contest from the Siolim constituency.
Calangute MLA has worked in neighboring constituencies for a while now.
While Lobo said that “Fadnivis did not react positive or negatively”, Fadniv said that “the party will make the right decision at the right time”.
Fadnivis’s visit to discuss the situation in Bardez has sparked speculation among the political circles in the background of questions raised for sustainable lobo with BJP.
A political observer said that if the Lobo stopped BJP, the party had reduced the opportunity to win the maximum seat in Bardez, because Calangute MLA used the influence on most of the seven constituencies, including Mapusa, Saligao, Siolut, and Calangute.
In 2016, when Lobo was not happy, the former Minister of Main Manohar Parragar visited his house to calm him down and convince him to continue at BJP.
“It is important for BJP to win at least six of seven constituencies in Bardez to form a government, and if the lobo is not with the party, it will be a difficult task for BJP,” said a political observer.
Lobo recently announced that Congress and AAP had approached him to join their party.
He said that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tried to meet him, but until now, he had not given him an appointment.
“There is nothing wrong with talking.
It’s up to certain individuals, MLA or ministers, to make decisions for the benefit of the country,” he said.
For the election of Zilla Panchayat held last year, Lobo has shown its strength by winning the Socorro ZP seat and defeats the MLA Rohan Khaunte Porvorim Independent candidate.
He also played an important role in providing BJP control from Socorro Panchayat, which was seen as a setback for Khaunte.
A senior BJP official said that Lobo wants to play an important role in choosing candidates for Bardez.
At one point, BJP has entrusted the lobo with the task of expanding the party base at Taluka, but has asked him to stop when they realize that he tried to make a private breakthrough.
Lobo has told the party that new faces must be given the opportunity in the assembly selection of 2022, or the party will see the results of the 2017 assembly poll repeated in 2022.
In the 2017 poll process, Lobo has demanded several candidates amended.
Fadniv said that the meeting was to understand the land situation before making a decision.
“There is a good situation in Goa for BJP to form a government, and we need to improve (problem) after understanding the land situation,” he said.
When asked whether Lobo told him about being annoyed with senior party leaders, Fadniv said that there were no questions about anyone who was annoyed and “if someone spoke with party interest, it does not mean that person is upset”.
“We have raised the problem of Goa people.
We must express the feeling of the people to the government that day,” said Fadnivis.
