Panaji: In a short period of time since it was founded, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Goa, has made a big step in the field of research, education minister Union Dharmendra Pradhan said on Monday, virtually leading the first first meeting of the ceremony Iit Goa.
Overall, 185 students from 2020 and 2021 batch institutes were given with their degrees together at the ceremony.
“Despite being one of the youngest IITs, founded in 2016, IIT Goa has done very well in withdrawing research funds.

IIT Goa Director, B K Mishra, said that there were several challenges faced during the initial years of the Institute because it operates from the temporary campus in Farmagudi.
“Immediately we realize that managing students from the emergency campus and providing adequate facilities for the faculty will lead to some challenges for our growth.
Therefore, two new academic blocks, four faculty blocks and one workshop were built on the transit campus.
