PANAJI: Secondary Education Council of Goa and Secondary Education Wednesday Wednesday released the examination date for class X and XII students for 2020-21.
As part of a modified evaluation pattern for this year, two terminal exams will be carried out by the council because of the pandemic and in line with the provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP).
According to the released schedule, the first terminal exam from the board for class X will be held from December 1, while the second-term exam will begin on March 18, 2022.
“This pattern has two assessments by the board in a year will continue at least for two years.
Reducing stress for students and this pattern considering the recommendation of NEP.
This is a student-friendly step, “said Chairman of the Goa Bhagirath Shetye.
It is also expected to help the board evaluate students better if a single public exam, as detained until now, cannot occur due to a pandemic.
The council exam in 2021 cannot be held due to the second wave.
The last date for students to register without the cost of delay is November 1.
In addition to two tests conducted by the Board, the school will also carry out their own internal assessment.
The results of internal assessment and terminal exams of two councils will be taken into account to prepare for the final sheet of students.
