Panaji: If during the first wave of 6,508 pandemic children are tested positively, the second wave takes this number to 15,863.
A total of nine children who have comorbidity have surrendered to the virus so far, the data collected by the Directorate of Health Services shows.
The youngest victim during the first wave was an eight-month-old girl from Verem Savoi suffering from type-III glycogen storage disease, a disease that caused complex sugar buildup called glycogen in body cells.
