Panaji: The campaign period was a very busy time for Daniel Lobo.
There are two constituencies to monitor, meet and activate their friend’s network.
With Father, Michael, and Mother, Delilah, Congress Candidates for the constituency of Calangute and Siolim, Lobo families have their hands full.
Daniel’s attack helped possibly relieve the husband and wife duo.
“Working on logistical work and delegates is not easy.
I tried to reach all my friends as much as possible,” he said.
Daniel was actively involved with the youth group in Parra, and his parents were happy because he was active he could operate independently.
“He has campaigned for an hour in Calangute, he campaigned at Parra.
He has worked with young men in Saligao and Mapapa too and has his own friend following,” Michael said.
In Marcaim, the MLA Ramkrishna ‘Sudin’ campaign also has the benefit of Jyoti’s wife, Son Mithil and Brother Dileep instill energy into the Canvassing.
“The constituency of my father is in such a way that the voters told us ‘no need to come, we still choose for him’.

In Nuvem, Alexio Sequeira Congress candidate has his children, Trio Antonio, Ana Karina and Elaine, to help her, because former MLA made a comeback after a decade of active politics.
“Candidates are declared late and according to the Norma ECI, because Covid, the campaign can only be done until 8pm.
So we help our Father in a door-to-door campaign and managed to reach every household,” Antonio said.
The siblings said that, when they campaigned actively for their father, they had to deal with rumors that Sequaira was unable to be due to health reasons and therefore left the campaign to their children.
“Daddy came to the door to the door.
We only helped him the same as others did for their father.
The wife of another Nuvem candidate Micky Pacheco, Wilfred D’sa and Raju Cabral also helped them, but lies were distributed by choosing us,” he said.
“We are proud to stand with our father,” said Elaine.
The family will now be patiently waiting for the results, hoping that their hard work will lead to a fat family celebration.
