Goa: Releasing BJP Priority, said Vijai Sardesai

A former deputy minister at Pramod Sawant Government, Vijai Sardesai believes the GFP-Congress Pact is the best betting of Goa to send BJP packing.
Speaking to Toi, he said the alliance would ensure the welfare of Goa even when he claimed that TMC and AAP only had a national agenda of 2024 in their minds.
BJP has faced a strong anti-incumbency, but people still see fragmented opposition.
Don’t you think this has given BJP big advantage? Yes, the Pramod Sawant Government may be the worst we have in our history so that anti-farmers are very strong.
I agree that with so many opposition parties in Medan, there may be a sound separation that will be an advantage for BJP.
But I feel the situation has changed dramatically in the last two-three weeks.
Look this way.
With the Alliance of Congress-GFP, what people see is strong political force and credible that can take and defeat BJP.
Now it has fallen into place, the other parties have lost their meaning.
The sound they pull will be ignored.
I feel very felt that the anti-BJP sound will consolidate with our alliance.
So, BJP’s profit thinks they don’t exist.
For almost a year, you have talked about the need for a Goa team to fight BJP.
Now, the GFP only has three chairs and the remaining 37 congresses.
What’s wrong? I don’t think something is wrong.
The most important thing is that we have a credible alliance and strong enough to challenge BJP.
Of course, we will love more chairs, we will like the alliance that has been formed before.
But for us, removing BJP from power is the first priority and we have made sacrifices to achieve them.
The end result is that the battles are now clear between our alliances and BJP and they are in the back leg.
Everything is correct.
Don’t you think that there should be a formidable opposition with a combination of more parties to defeat BJP? That’s the ideal scenario.
In fact, it might not work at all.
And it’s not in our case.
But I feel that people are convinced every day that our alliance is able to defeat BJP even without others joining, and that faith is increasing day by day.
There are too many parties in Fray and aggressively campaigned offering free items.
How did the GFP / Congress propose to stop the sound division with AAP and TMC compete to share your voice? Look at this from the people’s perspective.
They want BJP out.
This cannot be negotiated for GOANS.
To realize this, in the fragmented opposition landscape, they will choose the party they consider to be the strongest to defeat BJP.
That’s our alliance.
TMC and AAP have shown that they are here with the 2024 national agenda than the Goa 2022 agenda.
Goans’s interest is to issue BJP and the desire is stronger than their desire for Freebies from TMC and AAP.
With our new faces, policies have no defector and unity, we appear as a clear choice in the eyes of people.
In your opinion, how different is the 2022 election compared to the previous one? One of them is the importance of Goa.
I say that this is the second poll.
We have never faced such threats against every aspect of our life and property as we face now from the Sawant government.
For the first time, Goa was used as a laboratory and Goenkar as Guinea pigs as recognized by IPAC for their clients, TMC.
BJP talks about the government of “multiple machines” and the slogan is on stability and infrastructure.
After being part of the BJP government for half a term, what is your comment about this? The BJP’s biggest infrastructure project makes the mountain out of MoleHills.
After the Parragar, it’s nothing but talking.
What infrastructure is initiated by Pramod Sawant? Work under his tenure is ugly and below standard.
There is a constant improvement in Setu Atil.
All the disabled MLA insisted that they did it for development.
What developments occur in their constituencies? Also, infrastructure is not everything.
You cannot justify corruption, fraud, linear projects, efforts to change cave into capital of sin or coal hub by building bridges.
