Margao: The trial of speed running on the second trajectory newly placed in the Margao-Chandor-Curchorem (SANVORDEM) section in South Western Railway (SWR) was carried out by the Railway Safety Commissioner (CRS) Thursday night.
The train recorded a speed of 124 kmps during the trial, Pro Head, SWR, Hubbali, said Aneesh Hegde.
The Margao-Chandor-Curchorem (Sanvordem) section is part of the Hospet-Hubli-Tinaligat-Vasco double tracking project.
