Rajkot: Kutch Police on Monday arrested one person who wanted to relate to a lotion of 5kg gold jewelry from a car parked in Vadodara last month.
Alias alias aka Manoj Sevani (30), a citizen Kubernagar in Ahmedabad was arrested from the New Station Road in Bhuj by the local police.
Police said that also confiscated 88 grams of gold jewelry and RS 3.75 lakh cash from Sevani who traveled cars.
Police Bhuj said that Sevani came to Bhuj to sell his share of stolen gold jewelry at lower prices.
He has been in Bhuj for the past few days and has sent cash to Ahmedabad through an Angadia company (local courier).
“Six people were involved in the theft of Golden Crore Jewelry Rs 2.35.
Sevani has sent Rs 27 Lakh Cash through Angadia Firm for his brother-in-law at Bubaagar in Ahmedabad until now,” said the police source.
Last week, the AHMedabad crime branch official had arrested Amit Abhawekar (24) from Mandvi Ni Pol in the Ahtodia Ahmedabad area with Jewelry worth Rs 26 Lakh.
On the question of abhawekar, he had revealed the names of his cakatan, Sevani, Attram Atmaram, Vishal Tamanache, Boby Rathod, and Sunny Tamanche.
The defendant had targeted Rajkot-based Vipul Jewelry after noting his colleagues in Vadodara.
