MANGALURU: Customs officials in the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) on Friday captured 262 gm of gold worth Rs 13.
2 lakh by a passenger who came here from Dubai.
According to intelligence and lots of riders, Customs officials resisted Siddiqua Miqdam Hussain (27) hailing from Bhatkal.
He’d arrived at Air India flight IX 384.
On private investigation and questioning, then the passenger has been found to have hidden gold in paste form inside his anus.
Gold weighing 262 gm, valued at Rs 13,17,860, has been retrieved and captured.
