It is said that new features “will create a more flexible, interactive, and intelligent experience, improve content and connections that fuel collaboration in workspace.” Google Documents users can now add summaries to their documents that will provide a general description of the content.
Users of several Google Workspace editions will see summary suggestions generated automatically in certain cases.
These include Google Workspace Essentials, Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus, Essentials Enterprise, Standard Enterprise, Enterprise Plus, Education Plus, Frontline, and Nonprofit.
Summary Google Docs will allow users to parse important information and prioritize where focus.
They will be able to edit summaries or make themselves.
Other features that continue to Google Documents are the ability to create pageless documents.
This feature adds more horizontal space to the document and will make it easier to collaborate on documents with wide tables and large images.
Google is reported to work on the new Smart Maps chip that will allow users to preview the address link in the document.
When the user clicks on the smart chip, they will see thumbnails with useful information – such as the location of the location on the map and address.
