In the ‘comprehensive guidelines revised for Covid-19 management in children and adolescents (under 18 years), the Ministry of Health also said that the mask was not recommended for children aged five years and down.

Those who are 12 years and over must wear a mask with the same conditions as adults, the ministry said.

Guidelines state that steroids are not indicated and dangerous in the case of asymptomatic and mild Covid-19.

As far as regarding post-covid-19 treatment, guidelines state that children with asymptomatic infections or mild diseases must accept routine child care, appropriate vaccination (if qualified), nutritional counseling, and psychological support at follow-up.
