Bhubaneswar: In the midst of increasing Covid-19 cases, the Odisha government has tightened the sidewalk.
All universities, universities and technical education institutions (in addition to medical colleges and underdrawn from the Department of Health and family welfare) will be closed from January 10.
Special assistance commissioners (SRC) appeared with this command on Friday keeping Covid cases that increased.
The authorities of higher education institutions under the supervision of the Odisha government will take all the right steps to do classes through online / virtual / video or other alternative learning methods.

Students will be advised to avoid living in dormitories for their personal health interests.
However, scholars, researchers and students who want to live in a dormitory for research / projects or other academic activities can be permitted to live in hostels after providing efforts to authorities of authority.
Teaching and non-teaching mountains of universities / universities / technical education institutions will work in accordance with the applicable guidelines for government employees and carry out tasks such as taking online classes / semi-academic and administrative functions assigned to them by the authorities.
The order states that all ongoing offline checks will be allowed to continue according to the program by complying with the appropriate behavior of Covid.
Training / organizational institutions / individuals who offer coaching services to students will not run offline / physical / physical training.
However, online / virtual coaching will be allowed to continue.
The department concerned will issue a detailed standard operating procedure / guide / circular in this context.
“Everyone found to violate this order will be punished by the provisions of the Disaster Management Law, 2005 and other relevant laws,” Read the SRC command.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Higher Education has made a decision to suspend the biometric presence system for students, teachers and major universities and universities with the effects of January 8 (Saturday) to further orders considering the Covid-19 situation in the state.
In the related development, AIIMS Bhubaneswar on Friday decided that he would stop all offline classes with the effects of January 10 to further instructions.
All classes will be held through online mode only, the official source said.
