‘Government work has limitations; More broad canvas as politicians’

Lucknow: IIT alumni, holding a Bachelor of Law and PhD, former Director Joint Director of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) Rajeshwar Singh is one of the most qualified candidates in Fray from all Lucknow assembly seats.
Saving in the Sarojininagar, he has become a celebrity and every BJP worker wants to click Selfie with him.
In an exclusive chat with the pathikrit of Chakraborty, he shared his views, trust and intention.
Quotes: You can be an ed director, but you join politics? Every reason or incident that drives this choice? I realized there were limitations in government services, while the canvas was far more wider for a politician.
Someone gets a broader spectrum to work and can help people in a better way.
There is no special incident behind joining politics, but because the whole family I have served people, I also have a strong boost for it.
I want to change the perception that people have to politics only for dishonest, corrupt and criminals.
You fight from Lucknow.
Do you have a link with the city? Of course.
I was born in Lucknow, studied here and posted as a Circle Officer in Gomtinagar, Mahanagar, a crime branch, traffic for more than five years, and then as JD Ed, for five years.
My ancestral house was in Mahanagar, and the road was named Ran Bahadur Singh Marg after my father.
Why is BJP and not another party? BJP is the only Democratic Party in this country today.
This is the only party where an ordinary worker can become Prime Minister, Chief of Tribe, or Party President.
The other party is Dynastic, Casteist.
BJP ideology is ‘first country’.
In addition, BJP fulfilled all promises in Patra Sankalp, while others made a false promise in Manifesto.
Whether it ends instant Triple Talaq, scrapping of article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, or RAM Temple, everything is done.
Do you think it’s easier to become a politician than being an ed officer? Both are difficult if someone wants to contribute earnestly and with dedication.
Campaign has changed a lot because of Covid? What do you feel about change? Change because Covid is unavoidable and it’s the same for all contestants.
The emphasis is on the door-to-door campaign, virtual and social media media.
In addition, government policies and decisions have been good and for the welfare of the people, while acting hard on the mafia.
People are aware now and can distinguish between the politics of welfare, development, and politics divide.
What did you say to the voter when you go looking for a voice? I begged them not to choose SP or all the mafia in prison will be released, which will cancel all good changes and put our young man’s future in danger.
I also said that BJP has changed perceptions about and his previous people looked at skepticism.
