Mangaluru: After making traditional mandatory dresses at Kateel Durgaparameshwari Temple and Polyal Temple Rajarajeshwari in Dakshina Kannada District, The Karnataka State Dharm Parisat has a plan to apply a similar code in all 216 class temples under Hinduism and the Department of Amal Department country.
Parisates are a government agency that makes recommendations for rituals, pujas and preparing a dress code for worshipers who enter the temple controlled by the government.
Hindu religious institutions and Departments of Amal Endowment must approve the recommendations of the praises and send them before the Cabinet to be approved before it is implemented.
Kashekodi Parishat member Soryanayana Bhat told TII that it was impossible to enforce a uniform dress code on all temples in the state.
Based on Customs in this region, the Parisat will issue a dress code.
“The Parisat discussed the proposal at his recent meeting.
The code dressed is not a rule, but it’s all about the traditions practiced in a particular area,” he said.
Dress code is still in the early stages because parishates are expected to receive a comprehensive discussion about subjects with detailed DOS and donations.
The code will be implemented in stages after securing approval from the government.
Recently, Vishwa Hindu Parisat and Bajrang Dal organized a code dressed in Hyatra who demanded the temple.
The right organization has installed a board in many temples in the coastal district asking worshipers to wear traditional dresses when entering the temple.
