Mangaluru: Receipt has been poor in Dakshina Kannada Regency District Universities in P Damanda Pai Satish Pai First Class Campus, Car Street, who started this academic year.

Universities have been subject to sanctions under the initiative of ‘Sandhya Shakti,’ the state government to manage the invasion of extra acceptance to undergraduate programs, and serve poor students.
College has a BCOM and BCA course that can accommodate 60 and 50 seats, however, has managed to recognize only 12 students for BCA courses, and five students for the BCUR course.
According to the rules, a college can begin only if there are 10 or more acceptance.
Rajasshekar Hebbar, Principal of the Evening College, said because there were fewer students who admitted, they could not start the course.
A total of three students joined college days, and a student was accepted at the BCA Evening College course.
Other students joined the University Evening College in Hampankatta.
“This year, we will start with only BCA courses, and we will start a BCON course from next year.
All registered students will receive similar facilities offered to their daily colleagues.
Evening College was proposed during the state budget 2021-22.” Slang said, “The majority of students are accepted in private evening colleges in the city, because we accept orders very late.
