Greater Noida: Great Noida Authority has liked 17 public toilets for the general public throughout the city.
It has been built under drive Swachh Bharat and includes five pink toilets for women.
Overall, the authority plans to form a total of 30 public toilets in January 2022.
Some places where this toilet has been formed including the Murti Char Roundabout, opposite the Jagat Farm, Alpha Commercial Belt, near GL Bajaj Roundabout in the PI Sector 3, and near Venice Mall.
Pink toilets have been in the Alpha Sector’s commercial belt, at Pari Chowk, near Surajpur Chowk and near the Yamuna Authority Office.
MP Mahesh Sharma, Jewar Mla Dhirendra Singh, Dadri Mla Tejpal Nagar and MLC Srichand Sharma inaugurated this toilet in a different location on Wednesday.
“This toilet has been built by a private agent chosen by the authority under the Build, Operate, and Transfer (BOT) model where they get advertising rights to this toilet to recover their costs for a certain period of time,” said Narendra Bhoooshan, CEO.
Gnida.
Praising public utility services, MP Mahesh Sharma and Dadri MLA said that the BOT model “is a commendable effort where the authority saves money while providing the facilities needed to ordinary people”.
About 12 more toilets will appear in the city, with a total of 30, in January next year.
