Gram Sabhas to popularize the Govt gasoline subsidy scheme

Ranchi: Ranchi Administration works planning to start the Sabhas gram to create awareness about the state government gasoline subsidy scheme between the ration card holders.

Jharkhand became the first country in the country to launch a scheme where he has announced to provide subsidies of Rs 25 / liter of gasoline for all ration card holders.

All Bonafide Ransum card holders with valid two wheels and proper documents, including SIMs, can take advantage of the benefits of the scheme.
The government even launched ‘CM supports applications’, digital interface to register for the scheme.
But for a week since its launch, the ration card holder in state capital has not shown much interest in the scheme.
There are around 63 lakh ration card holders in the state and in Ranchi, around 12 lakh card holders are on paper.
But district officials said that people were not advancing to utilize the scheme that was worried that their cards would be canceled.
“Around 19,000 people have registered for a scheme from Ranchi, where around 4,000 applications are rejected because of some technical errors in their newspapers or because they have no adequate evidence about ownership of their two-wheeled vehicles.
But given the ration quantum card holder, the application has not been encouraging So far.
The biggest idea between the ration card holders is that their cards will be canceled if they have two wheels.
