Athens: Greek authority warned the public to unnecessary movements on Friday and said there was a high risk of forest fires during the “dangerous” heat wave which was expected to peak next week.
Temperature has been high in most countries in the past few days and is expected to reach 44 degrees Celsius (111.2 ° F) next Monday and Tuesday, said national meteorological services.
Turkish neighbors have been beaten by forest fires this week where four people have been killed.
“The phenomenon of weather that is difficult to come in the following days with very high temperatures and a few hot days,” Michalis’s residents’ minister of residents Chrysochoidis told reporters.

Firefighters have handled more than 40 forest fires in the last 24 hours, the fire extinguisher said, combating the high temperature of the wind.
The blaze that went berserk in the north of Athens on Tuesday burned at least a dozen homes before being controlled.
More than 1,000 people were killed in 1987 at the Greekmost Heatwave, with a hot temperature in this country for more than a week.
