Vadodara: Local Court on Monday rejected the guy guarantee application captured under Gujarat Law which was recently changed.
It was the first case in the state under the law of ‘Love Jihad’ who was new and the defendant, who was ordered to be forcibly convert his wife and do atrocities to him.
He was arrested on June 18.
“Guarantees are rejected for several reasons.
I argued that the man was accused of committing serious crimes and he illegally changed it.
He also used rude words because the caste and squeezed the woman by threatening to make the video of the nude viral,” said Advocate Antil Desai, prosecutor The public prosecutor appears for complainants.
Four days ago, the 25-year-old complainant had submitted a written statement in court to guarantee her husband.
He also claimed that his 21-year-old husband did not force him to convert and refute all the other charges.
“I argue that the signature of the woman about written and firms is different.
And the written statement has been prepared a few days before the bail application was submitted.
The woman must be under pressure from the defendant’s family to submit Affidavit.
The court does not consider the written statement,” Desai said , The woman on June 17 filed a complaint at the Gotri Police Station against her husband, who called himself Sam Martin, on social media.
He accused the complaint that he was friends with him in February 2019 and then expressed his desire to marry him.
The complainant accused him of forcing himself and they married in February this year.
The woman accused her husband to change it forcibly and he did not allow him to practice his religion.
