Guj: 35,000 students graduate with Gambur

Ahmedabad: The results of the 12th grade general flow exam announced on Saturday showed that as many as 34,000 regular students 4 lakh struggled to print even 40%.
The base D is given to students who score between 33% and 40%.
This year, 28,690 students received class D compared to 4,372 students last year, a seven-fold leap, said source.
In addition, the Gujarat and High Middle Education Board (GSHSEB) must provide signs of grace by 130 per student in some cases to ensure that they clean up class 12.
After canceling this 12th grade exam because of the Covid-19 situation, the State Education Department compiled Criteria for tabulation signs to evaluate student performance.
Not a student failed, in line with the government’s decision to provide mass promotion to all regular school students this year.
“Last year around 4,000 students were able to clean up 12th grade with exam results of less than 40%.
This does not include students who fail,” Ahmedabad-based academic expert said.
“However, a large number of students are given signs of grace this year to make them qualify for mass promotion.
Which reflects the sorry state in the education system.”
