Ahmedabad: Head of Gujarat Minister Bhupendra Patel on Wednesday launched a drive vaccine Pneumococci conjugation in the state (PCV) from the Health and Health Center in Alhadpura in the Chhota Udepur District District.

PCV vaccination will not only protect the baby but also reduce the risk of pneumococcal disease in children.
Gujarat was declared polio-free in 2007 after a comprehensive campaign to provide polio pulse vaccines to children.
Now under the visionary leadership of Gujarat CM Patel, a universal program of pneumococcal conjugate vaccination will be carried out to protect newborns in the state of pneumonia and meningitis.
