However, this level fell up to 85% for all countries (other than city corporate areas).
Similarly, the 52% of the eligible population of getting doses in eight cities, the number in case of 33 districts is 41.5%.
Six districts – Ahmedabad, Mahisagar, Tami, Vadodara, Valsad and Dahod – have a 90% vaccine coverage or more COVDI-19 if the first dose occurs.
The number of districts with coverage of more than 50% of these two doses is also six – Ahmedabad, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Narmada, Navsari and Vadodara.

“Current vaccination is the only way in which we can reduce the number of cases of everyday and reduce severity.
Aggressive vaccination has produced results in urban areas such as Ahmedabad and letters that have recorded very high everyday cases,” said an expert Public health based in the city.
Experts, however, emphasize creating awareness about the importance of vaccination than only increasing the amount to reach the target.
“Some malpractices have also arrived in the future when officials are also stressed to complete the vaccination target.
But the focus must be on effective communication and public participation,” said the expert.
