Rajkot: a private school teacher whose 46-year-old was booked on Tuesday for allegedly raping 16-year-old student with the promise of good grades in exams Mundra in Kutch city.
The incident came to light when police are investigating a case of theft Mundra.
Investigations also revealed that Jay Thakkar teacher accused of not only raping minor student twice, in October and in December, but also forced him to steal jewelry from her own home.
According to police Mundra, aging survivors of rape have filed a complaint on December 14 that jewelery worth Rs 1.2 lakh was stolen from their home.
During the investigation, police questioned the little girl broke down and admitted stealing jewelry.
He told police that he did so at the behest of his teacher Thakkar.
When police asked why he did it, the girl revealed that Thakkar allegedly raped twice promising good grades in exams.
She also forced him to steal jewelry from her home with the lure of a better value.
A police officer Mundra said, “Thakkar married and his family live in Mumbai.
He worked at the famous school in Mundra.
He owes and pay he asked her to get into his own house.
Thakkar has been booked for theft and raping a minor.” (The identity of the victim not disclosed to protect privacy as directed by the Supreme Court on cases related to sexual violence)
