Vadodara: The startup incubated by the Directorate of Aromatic Plants and Research based on Anand (DMAPR) has developed a decomposer of organic waste which accelerates the decomposition of organic waste – produced in large quantities in agriculture and at home throughout the country.
Organic waste if it doesn’t take several months to decompose.
But this multi-purpose decomposer changes organic waste into fertilizer within 45 days and it is also at low cost! “Ahmedabad Based on Startup M / S Green Cross Agritech has developed this agricultural waste management product – Trinetra.
You only need 50 grams for a ton metric to be a wealth,” said Dr.
R Nagaraja Reddy, senior scientist and the main investigator in the Medi-Hub , TBI.
Medi-Hub, Technology Business Incubator (TBI) is an incubator supporting agribusiness incubator and business development on agriculture assigned to DMAPR by the Indian Agricultural Research Council (ICAR), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers of Welfare, Indian Government.
Trinetra is a microbial consortium consisting of bacterial novel strains (pseudomonas and bacillus) and actinomycetes which are involved in the decomposition of organic waste materials.
“This is the decomposer of the next generation organic waste which has proven its efficacy at low doses, it is not large, it is low cost and can be used instantly,” said Jayesh Raninga, Postgraduate Agri MSC which lay the foundation of the Agritech Green Cross along with Raju Lodhiya, an engineer by the profession.
“Acceleration of Agri waste decomposition with the help of a microbial consortium offers a solution to the problem of burning plant residue,” said Dr.
Satyansu Kumar, ICAR-DMAPR Director, Anand.
“It has several uses.
Farmers can use it to prepare farm fertilizer, decomposed plant residues that remain on agriculture after harvest.
This can be used for budget farms and city waste management,” Raninga said.
“Posting harvesting, farmers burn plant residues produce large-scale pollution.
Instead they can only apply this product and plant residues will break down.
While plowing, manure will mix with land and increase productivity.
This will not only reduce pollution caused By Agri waste but also increases soil productivity, “he said.
