Rajkot: 32-year-old entrepreneurs allegedly committed suicide by plunging into the Aji Dam on Thursday night.
The victim of Hiren Kakadia’s body was arrested by a male firefight on Friday morning.
The initial investigation showed that Kakadi ended his life because he suffered severe business losses during a covid induced pandemic.
His family member told the police that Kakadia was running the lathe unit in Rajkot City.
He owes after facing losses in business for the past year.
On Thursday night, he left his house without telling family members.
After some time, he called two of his friends and told them that he owed and that he knew what to do.
Then Kakadia, who was not married, called his mother’s uncle and asked him to take care of his family.
His family tried to call him but the kakadia phone was turned off.
On Thursday night, they approached the Bhaktinagar police station and submitted a report of missing people.
On Friday morning, the Kakadia family got a call that the body had been found from Aji Dam.
The wheeler was also found parking near the dam.
