Rajkot: A famous gangster, with 86 violations registered against it; And his 18-year-old son was killed in a police officer who was met in Gediya Patdi Taluka Village in the Surendranagar district on Saturday night.

“Both of them (Hanif and Madin) died in a meeting when a team led by police sub-inspectors VM Jadyja went to Gediya Village to arrest the desired Hanif in some cases including one below Gujcoc (Gujarat control and organized crime),” Deputy Joshi HP police supervisor told TI.
“Hanif fired three shots to the police team who came to arrest him, while his son Madin attacked them with Dharia (Bill Hook).
Two police officers were injured in a hook bill attack.
In retaliation, the police fired three rounds where Hanif and Madin were killed,” Joshi said .
The duo agencies of the father-child have been sent for the Forensic Postmortem Panel at the Civil Surendranagar Hospital, he said.
According to Joshi, Hanif is one of the villains absconding in the desired surendrangar in the Gujcoc case.
The police said that Hanif was a famous gang member, known as Gediya Gang, who targeted trucks on the highway.
The gang is used to loot goods from a moving truck or after attacking the vehicle driver on the highway at night.
Hanif has 86 violations registered with him, where he was arrested in 59 cases.
In other cases he was shown as escape.

Hanif is a Gediya gang member whose members have more than 125 cases that enroll in at least seven districts, said Surendranagar SP Joshi.

However, Hanif’s family members accused the police accidentally shot him.
Putri Hanif Simran also alleged that her brother Madin was killed in the meeting was a small child and was 16 years old.
