RAJKOT: Surendranagar Authorities on Wednesday night Arrested Gujarat Karni Sena Main Raj Shekhawat for Supposedly threatening and Threatening Amreli DSP Nirlipt Rai.
Authorities stated Shekhawat had jeopardized the SP in a speech that he gave in a neighborhood meeting arranged in Suraj Deval village nearby Chotila in February this year.
The movie of this address had gone viral and nearly after four weeks, police reserved Shekhawat under different sections of IPC.
According to police officers, Karni community leaders had arranged a meeting in February this year in Suraj Deval village nearby Chotila city of Surendranagar.
Throughout the assembly, Shekhawat used abusive language against Rai and issued threats against the officer.
Since the information of Shekhawat’s arrest spread, a great number of his followers hurried to the Surendranagar police station in which he had been retained from the lockup.
The cops expecting difficulty from Shekhawat’s followers had retained him Surendranagar police station rather than in Chotila city where the instance was enrolled.
