Ahmedabad: Gujarat on Sunday reported 56 positive cases of new Coronavirus, taking the overall calculation to 8.28,133, the state health department said.
Because there is no death because the infection is recorded during the day, the fatal amount remains unchanged at 10,098, he said.
Thirty-two patients were dismissed on Sunday, which raised the number of state recovery to 8.17,487, he said in a statement.
There are 548 active cases with six critical patients.
A total of 87,796 people were vaccinated against the Coronavirus in the state on Sunday, increasing the number of doses given so far to 8.53 crores.
Wise district, Vadodara reported the highest number of 14 new cases, Ahmedabad 10, letter eight, Jamnagar and Kutch four each and Valsad three, among others.
There were three cases of Active Covid-19 in the Union Darda and Nagar Haveli region, Daman and Diu, officials said.
UT has so far reported 10,658 cases and 10,651 recovery, and four patients have died so far, they said.
