VADODARA: Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) arrested Kanji Mokariya, Managing Director of a leading courier service company, for allegedly helping Raju Bhatt, a defendant in raping a 24-year-old legal student, fled.
“The investigation revealed that Mokariose was a friend of Bhatt and helped him escape.
We tried to find out where Bhatt escaped,” said Chauhan DS, Assistant Commissioner of Police (crime).
Bhatt was also ordered based on a ban on a ban after a bottle of Brendi was found in Nizampura’s house.
The investigation has revealed that Bhatt accountants and Chartered Ashok Jain hid somewhere in neighboring Gujarat countries.
Both Bhatt and Jain have been running for the last eight days.
“We have some information about their existence.
They are in one of the neighboring countries but constantly moving and change their location as often as possible.
We hope to immediately arrest them,” said a police officer.
The police said that the law disappeared Jain and Bhatt only against them in the eyes of the law.
The crime branch has submitted an application in court to declare Jain and Bhatt as absconders.
“We have started identifying their property that will soon attach,” the police said.
Jain submitted an anticipatory assurance application in court on Monday.
His lawyer has claimed that he never attacked the girl.
Jain has also written a letter to the DGP state and a house patient claims innocence.
When asked about spy cameras installed in the girl’s flat, the police said that they had not confirmed if they were installed by the defendant or a complainant.
The police have also tried to track the famous Bootlegger Alpesh Vadhwani alias Alpu Sindhi, who is a friend of the girl.
Jain accused Sindhi to beat in the case of rape but no complaints submitted against it.
“We tried to track it because he was sought in a prohibition case but no complaints he was in the case of rape,” added the police.
Students have approached the Gotri police on September 19 and filed complaints of rape and attack on Jain and Bhatt.
He told the police that he had joined Jain’s company as an internship five months ago and he was sexually attacked by him and also Bhatt later.
