Vadodara / Anand: The popular Gujarat People’s People’s singer Kirtidan Gadhvi has been under the scanner for suspected of saying Covid-19 guidelines when Anand District has emerged as a Covid-19 hotspot in Gujarat.
After the controversy regarding this program, Anand police on Monday decided to register a violation.
The ‘Dayro’ night program on Sunday was held in Kalamsar Khambhat Taluka Village.
Politicians throughout the party are present in programs that have hundreds of viewers without wearing masks or following social distance norms.
Those present included Chauhan Arjunshinh Minister, BJP Mla Mayur Raval, President of the Anand District Congress Mahendrasinh Parmar regardless of other leaders.
Raval and other people were seen showering the currency notes on the singer without wearing a mask on the stage.
The singer itself landed in controversy because the alleged words from the stage asked for collection to remove the mask from their faces.
Reacting to controversy, Kirtidan Gadhvi told Ti that the veriment was highlighted from the context.
“If you hear the entire clip, you will understand that I asked the gathering for the loud singing Har Har Mahadev with me.
For now I ask them to remove the mask and then wear it again,” he said.
Gadhvi’s partner told Tii that the singer gave a call for traditional songs – ‘HAR Treasure Mahadev’ called Lord Shiva while raising hands up in the air.
Anand District Supervisors Police Ajit King said that the police had registered a violation of the organizers because they did not follow the right behavior of Covid-19 such as wearing masks and maintaining social distance norms.
Even as a question about Timing was also raised, officials said that since the notice of Kurfew was restricted to Anand City, night hour timings did not apply in this case as a program organized under the rural jurisdiction of khambhat.
