Ahmedabad: Calculation of Coronavirus Gujarat rose to 8.25,872 on Monday with the addition of 21 new cases, while there was no fresh death because the infection reported in the state, the health department said.
The state also reached a historical milestone of more than 6 doses of coronavirus crore vaccine.
Gujarat’s count of Covid-19 death remained unchanged at 10.082, the department said in the release.
As many as 30 patients were removed from the hospital during the day, raising the number of restored cases in the country to 8.15,648, he said.
Now there are 142 active cases in Gujarat, where the condition of four patients is very important, said the release.
At the Covid-19 vaccination front, Gujarat reached a new milestone to manage more than 6 crore doses after 4,96,485 people received their Jab on Monday, the department said.
The total number of covid-19 vaccine doses given so far in Gujarat stands 6,00,20,944, he said.
Wise district, Ahmedabad reported six new cases, Valsad Five, Letter Three, Vadodara Three and Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar, Kuch and Navsari respectively, the release.
The Dadra Union and Nagar Haveli region, Daman and Diu are still free of Covid-19 without active cases or fresh infections reported in the state in the last 24 hours.
UT has so far reported 10,642 cases of Covid-19, 10,638 recovery and four deaths, officials said.
