Vadodara: Four years ago, he was ridiculed by his schoolmate in the US for his short frame.
Standing at 4 feet 11 inches, Sia Parikh is used to feeling intimidated and often teases shaking his confidence.
But his mother’s words changed his world and now the 16-year-old girl born to Gujarati’s parents will walk in the famous red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in the midst of glitter on July 12.
“Initially, I never felt nervous about my height.
When my schoolmate began to grow tall, the ridicule began.
My trust was rather shaken because I felt that it became high needed for a good appearance,” said Sia.

The family lives in Columbus Ohio.
Sheet, Barodian, has shifted to the US in 1998 and her husband Ashish Parikh migrated there on student visas many years ago.
SIA, who was studying Kathak, said that he wanted to start a conscious campaign among young people to discourage the body.
