Ahmedabad: Special CBI Court here on Saturday sent two law enforcement officers for the interrogation of the custodian until July 7 after they were arrested on charges of graft for allegedly demanding RS 75 Lakh bribery from a businessman based in a letter, whose company was under the probe.

After producing Deputy Director of Ed Purna Kam Singh and Assistant Director of Bhuvnesh Kumar for allegedly accepting RS 5 Lakh bribes through intermediaries, their CBI investigative officers seek their detention for five days.
In looking for their custodian interrogation, the probe institution proposed that the request was for a large number and needed to find out who other officers might be involved in this case.
There seems to be a convention of the defendant with the Angadiya firm, which must be investigated.
Two other people’s involvement in the transaction number of bribes also need to be examined.
The probe agent was also delivered in court that people accused of not working together.
In addition, there are requirements for collecting additional electronic evidence by recording their specimens, handwriting, and fingerprints, which are needed by prisoners of the people accused.
It was also submitted that there are requirements to investigate their property, which may have been made from improper advantages received in the past.
Advocate Singh Amit Nair objected to the detention application by denying allegations.
He argued that the complainant in this case had a ax to grind the officers because the alleged bank fraud was being investigated by the CBI and Ed entered the image.
