Amritsar: A group of a dozen armed people once again forced the entry to Gurdwara Karta Parwan, Kabul on Friday and conducted a nurdwara premise and demanded to take a bulletproof land vehicle left by Sikh Afghan politician before running away to India recently.
A leader Sikh Kabul told TII with anonymous requirements that around 18 to 20 gunmen entered the gurdwara premise around 2pm on Friday.
“They pushed the guards when he asked them to identify themselves, then they searched for Gurdwara and demanded to take explorer of the anti-bullet area parked at Gurdwara,” said the source.
The sources further informed that they showed a vehicle newspaper that followed several of them requested the key and wanted to take a vehicle while some of them were satisfied to see a paper.
“After about half an hour they left Gurdwara after we notified the representatives of the Taliban government who rushed to Gurdwara and entertained us,” said the source, added that they also convinced them to investigate the incident.
Earlier October 5, a group of armed thieves forced the entry to Gurdwara and also demanded the vehicle.
They also tied the hands of two Muslim guards from Gurdwara but left after breaking the CCTV camera installed in Gurdwara.
But a few days later the Taliban police arrested them and identified them as thieves further informing that they had repeatedly urged the Indian government to allow them to visit India on pilgrimage and wait for their response.
