Gurugram: Continuing the severity of illegal construction in Gurugram, the Town Department and State Planning (DTCP) on Monday sealed as many as 21 houses in the C-Block of Sushant Lok-1 for zoning violations and illegal commercial activities.
Some of these property owners run a dental clinic, medical store and salon from a place that violates the norms of the building, officials said.
Similarly, the developer of seven illegal colonies, spread over 35 hiccan of agricultural land, presented a notification by the DTCP enforcement wing for an urban ACT violation.
The builders of these colonies have been given seven days to submit their reply, fail where the department will drive demolition.
In fact, the Department of last month serves the notification of the show to the owner of 60 buildings in Sushant Lok-1 for various types of violations.
In notification, the department has asked the property owner to take permission for commercial activities but the owner does not pay attention.
District City Planner (Enforcement) Batth Hospital said property owner has run a dental clinic, chemical shops, property property, showrooms, and other activities from a competent place.
“The property will be closed only after the property owner applied for permission,” he said.
The department also conducted a market survey of Vyapar Kendra and warned shop owners about encroachment in the passages and public areas.
In seven illegal colonies in Farukhnagar, BATTH said it took advantage of the construction ban, violators developed unauthorized colonies and plots.
“According to the norm, there is no colony that can be developed without taking a license from the department.
The department has directed the developer to give their reply on January 5, which drives demolition which will be carried out from January 15,” he said.
