Gurugram: Private Hospital in Sohna and one of the doctors has been booked after a young man’s family, who claimed more than four months ago, alleged that he died of medical negligence.
This case is registered based on the recommendation of the Department of Health’s negligence board.
Madan Lal, a resident of Sohna, said that around 6 am on June 9, he had taken his son Munesh Kumar (33), who suffered a fever, to the hospital Saini.
There, he met the hospital owner, Lalchand Saini, who claimed to be a doctor and admitted Munesh after examining him.
“I paid Rs 16,000 as a further cost.
Then on that day, Munesh’s condition improved and I asked officials at the hospital to let go but they refused, saying they needed to do another test,” Lal alleged.
On the night of June 10, when Munesh got up from his hospital bed to go to the toilet, he felt dizzy and fell on the ground, following the brother-in-law and his officers told Saiin.
Lal accused that Munesh was given several injections and an hour later, his condition began to deteriorate.
About 1 in the morning, Tej Pal tried to meet Saini but the hospital staff allegedly denied permission, said the doctor would be available at 6 am.
Lal Alleged Munesh was rejected the right treatment, which led to his death.
“No one attended my son all night even though his condition deteriorated.
We were also not allowed to take him to another hospital,” he said.
He also alleged that he later found Saini did not have a medical degree and run the hospital illegally.
After LAL filed a complaint of the police on June 11, post-Mortem was carried out and a report struck from the head of the Gurugram head medical.
In his report it was submitted last week, the medical negligence board of the Ministry of Health concluded that Munesh did not get standard care in Saini Hospital even though it was critical ill.
“The council believes that the doctor who took care of, Abhay Pratap Singh, and the Sohna Saini hospital was negligent in the treatment of Munesh Kumar,” said the medical negligence board in his report.
Based on the Report of the Board and Lal complaints, a case was listed under the 304A IPC section (death due to negligence) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) at the Sohna City Police Station on Tuesday, a spokesman for the Bukit Subhash Police.
He added that a report from the medical negligence board was mandatory to submit cases of medical negligence against doctors or hospitals.
Denies allegations of negligence, Saini said the hospital had told the patient’s family members that he was very important and asked them to take him to other facilities late at night when his condition deteriorated.
The staff even called the ambulance, he added.
“No one can limit patients to the hospital without his consent.
The case against us is part of a local political conspiracy,” Saini’s alleged, which is a former member of the council.
In the LAL claim that he did not have the right qualification, Saini said, “I am a doctor Ayurvedic.
That doesn’t mean I can’t have a hospital where some doctors with a MBBS degree and specialize in treats patients.”
