Gurugram: Residents of Tower D from Chintels Paradiso, where the living room from the five floors came crashing into the first floor, on Sunday demanding rehabilitation and 50,000 Rs for each of the 36 families with homes in the tower that they could not return.
Residents have lived with their friends or relatives since February 10, when the floor surrendered.
On Sunday, the owner of the Flat Gherao as an official of the Developer of Chintel who visited Paradiso in the morning.
They accused the company to close their eyes against them even after the death of two residents in collapse.
Pooja Agrawal, who lives in Tower D, said, “My children stayed with their grandmother.
They were shocked and didn’t want to go back home.
We were helpless because we had no place to go.

“Sanjana Ahuja, the flat on the 16th floor, regretted the family’s decision to spend crores in their homes.
“On Friday, the police allowed us to enter the building for a while and gathered the slightest we could.

The son of the 11-year-old Mishra Hem had a fever for several days.
“We made a big mistake by choosing to buy a flat here.
We have spent the night without sleep since the collapse,” he said.
36 families who live in Tower D have shifted to the flats that are not sold in the project.
But this flat can hardly be inhabited and don’t even have basic facilities, they accuse.
“We were made to stay in the flats filled with dirt, broken tiles and no beats.
How can we sleep in this cold weather in the absence of a bed? We have spent crores to buy a flat here.

This is a tragedy that cannot be traversed by anyone and we regret that it happened .
Management will do everything needed to improve the situation.
All of this will take time because we have to wait for government instructions about how we can go further.
