Noida: A 24-year-old man was found hanging from the tree in sector 54, police said.
In an Instagram post aimed at the Minister of Chief, Youth, Mohit Thakur, claiming he was encouraged to take steps because Harasmemnt sustained by his in-laws, they said.
A native of Aligarh, Mohit works in IT companies in the city.
On Saturday morning, his body was found less than 50 meters from his house.
In the complaint submitted at the Sector Police Office on Sunday, the victim’s father, Pal Satendra, claimed his son married a Muslim woman in age 20 years earlier this year.
“As soon as the marriage, the female family submitted a case against Mohit for allegedly kidnapping their daughter.
The police have investigated the allegations and closed this case,” said complaints.
The police have registered a case against father, mother and two uncle women under the IPC part 306 (suicide reduction) and have started an investigation.
