Chandigarh: With the addition of 427 Covid-19 cases on Friday, Haryana reported 1,156 cases in the last five days.
The state will enter the new year with a surge of covid and omicron cases.
23 New Omicron cases have been reported from the Gurugram District, Karnal and Kurukshetra.
In particular, this figure has crossed the total number of three weeks earlier, namely November 28 to December 26.
In this three weeks the country only saw 957 cases and eight deaths.
ACS Health Rajiv Arora said that the field staff monitored the situation and the state was fully prepared in terms of diagnosis and treatment.

According to information, Gurugram reported 280 Covid cases and 15 new omicron cases.
Here three out of 15 was found to be US tourists while resting was the contact of the patient.
Gurugram was attended by 30 cases from Ambala, 26 from Faridabad, 23 of Panchkula, 12 of Karnal and 11 of Sonipat.
Meanwhile, \ Karnal and Kurukshetra also reported five cases of omicron each and those tested positive were travelers returned by the US.
