Jind: Buffalo Murrah has emerged as a “black gold” for livestock farmers in Haryana because this bull is in demand because of the high quality of cement.
Haryana has become the center of buffalo and mulfal bulls in the world, with some of these bulls turned into a brand for its owners.
Some sources claim that bulls have recently been sold for RS 11 Crores, however, there has been no confirmed report about such an agreement.
Rushtam, the buffalo owned by Dalel Singh from Gatauli Village in Jind District, has emerged as champions by defeating other people in various parameters in the cost of livestock held in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, on December 18.
Rushtam is nine years old, 15 feet tall and about six feet, was awarded the “Krishak Ratna” award worth Rs 5 lakh, with his body which was oiled and finely black-black skin talks.
Dalel Singh told that the bull produced almost five ml of sperm and could be extracted three times.
“This exercise is followed every three months for a period of about 15 days.
One sperm shot produces 400 straws, which sell for Rs 400 per straw.
Thus, produces around 10 thousand shots every three months,” he said.
Singh said Rushtam’s feed included 8 liters of milk, 300 grams of desi ghee, 3 kg chana, half kg methi, 100 grams of almud, 3.5 kg of carrots, every day besides fodder.
Bull was taken for a walk for almost 2 to 3 km every morning and evening.
Dalel Singh said that Rushtam had won 26 national titles at the Bull Championship throughout the country, in addition to six international titles.
“Rushtam made his father 50 thousand calves until now,” he said.
Bull is famous for its beauty and quality of the cement, which ensures a handsome annual income of up to rs 20 lakh for its owner.
Some other bulls in Haryana are also equally famous.
Yuvraj from Kurukshetra, Bajrangi from Chandoli Village in Kurukshetra, in addition to Rustam from the Jind District, was calculated among the best.
Karmbir Singh, a resident of Sunaria Village in Kurukshetra District, is the owner of Yuvraj.
He said that he had been emotionally bound with Yuvraj, who is now 18 years old.
“Despite high prices, I have rejected many offers to sell YUVRAJ”.
Yuvraj has become a national champion and makes the father of thousands of calves throughout the country.
Dalel Singh said that there were many parameters to choose Best Bulls in the championship.
