Haveri: The state government is preparing to establish 274 centers ‘Grama One’ to provide more than 750 services under one roof at the village level itself.
At present, villagers must approach government offices at the district level, Taluk and Hobali to take advantage of various government services.
These centers can be inaugurated after January 26.
According to the source, all 223 grams of Panchayats will get ‘Grama One’ each while Grade-1 Gram Panchayat will have two and grade 2 GPS will have three centers.
A task has been formed in relation to the Directorate of Electronic Services for Citizen Services, DPP (e-Governance) to establish these centers.
The district level task unit has been formed and led by the deputy commissioner and at the number of the Taluk, it will be led by Tahsildar.
“We are preparing to establish a 274 central ‘Grama One’.
Buildings for 200 centers have been painted and stored.
Install furniture, boards and cost lists have been completed in more than 80 central.
All centers will be ready before January 20 and will start functioning with the basis Full after the government and district administration gave permission, “said Arun Kalappanavar, district project manager.
Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Shettnenvar said Grama One center would help the community to get 750 services in their village.
“After receiving applications from the public, the operator will continue the e-application to the department concerned for further processing.
The applicant gets a message during each stage of the application process on the registered cellphone.
After the work is complete, applicants can collect certificates or related documents in the Grama One Center, “He added.
“The center will be open from 8am to 8pm during a working day.
We will display a list of 750 services and costs at each center.
