Vadodara: In 2002, the Gujarat High Court has directed the state government, all regional development authorities and local agencies to protect, maintain and preserve water bodies in the state identified according to development plans, city planning schemes and government records.
It also asked them to tell the same thing in the official sheet as a water body.
“They will not be exiled or transferred or used for anything other than as a water body,” the regulation.
Further reservations state that the state government, regional development authorities and local authorities must take urgent steps to rejuvenate the water bodies that must be notified in the gazette by conducting a declared destitized program and making adequate provisions to recharge them.
The right stormwater waterways and other ways are feasible and to take steps against the body’s body pollution.
